In most adult cardiac surgery operations, the heart must be completely immobile and isolated from blood. Therefore, is stopped in diastole a still operative site obtained. Cardiac arrest results ischemia-reperfusion injury. For these reasons, myocardial protection prevention of damages are required. Various cardioplegia solutions used for this purpose. It can said that gold standard method arrest. Nowadays, "Single-dose cardioplegia" applications increasingly used, especially minimally invasive basic coronary bypass procedures due to advantages they provide, which include reduction aortic cross-clamp time, frequent interruption procedure cardioplegia, reduced postoperative dysfunction incidence. The two main single dose Bretschneider solution del Nido extracellular solution. (dNCS), was originally developed use pediatric surgery, has recently increased its straightforward application long-term effectiveness. reduces cross clamp duration, cardiopulmonary time required volume, safer superior technique terms with regards many organs cardiac-biochemical parameters.
